Inside the Mind of the Gorgeous Paulina Porizkova

Found this gem today… a very old interview probably done in the late 80’s or early 90’s. I remember watching Paulina in her 80’s movies when I was little… my parents loved her. She was captivating… and it’s nice to see she considered herself an ugly-duckling growing up. Being a late-bloomer myself, I totally relate.

Enjoy this rare find!

  1. She is a very impressive woman. I liked the part where she said she liked to get up in the morning, put up her her in a bun and put on her sweats lol I don’t know why, but that cracked me up. I always liked Cheryl Teggss (spelling?) She modled into her 50’s and worked very hard on have a very good attitude each morning. She said that she needed to do that because you cannot fool the camera.

  2. Hi,

Thanks for posting your comments about the headaches possibly being a spiritual attack. That makes PERFECT sense!!!! The Lord gave me TWO great insights to share at my brother’s memorial service. Anyway, my mom approached me when the service was over, saying, “Stacy! You are a natural! You should be a preacher!” I’ve had several other people share similar thoughts.

I just got an email from a cousin in Az. who watched the DVD of the service last night. He commented that he thinks I am very gifted in my speaking and have a way of making others feel comfortable while listening to me.

On top of that, I am to teach the adult Sunday school class that I attend in two weeks. I’m sure the enemy is NOT happy that the Lord is finding a way for me to use the gift He’s given me. Not to mention that losing my brother has caused me to reach out to the Lord like never before. I am well aware of how much I need Him to help me get through this, and to be better on the other side, as opposed to being bitter.

    Thanks again!

  3. That makes sense… whenever we’re really a threat to the enemy it seems the spiritual warfare is piled on. If we’re just going about our life not making any difference, it seems like he’s indifferent.

You should go after your dreams… you really might be able to reach a lot of people through making videos or something! Your blog is great! I know I’ve heard somewhere that when we’re really making a difference the heat is piled on spiritually, and we start facing attack. I’ve definitely experienced it.

I’ll be praying for you! Thanks for commenting.
